Fleas
Fleas are the most common parasite affecting cats and dogs. Nearly impossible to see, fleas can be a big pain for your pet and sometimes for you. Fleas love warm, humid conditions and are often attracted to your pets by their body heat. Once on your pet, fleas can spread to anywhere your pet goes, including your home.
Fleas bite to survive, injecting irritating substances in to the skin that can cause itching, scratching and skin irritation. In some pets, flea bites can lead to an allergic reaction called Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
