Ear Mites
Ear mites are small, white pests that live on the skin surface in the outer ear canal of cats and dogs. They are the most common – and annoying – mite affecting pets. Kittens are most susceptible to infestations that cause irritation and scratching in the ear. Ear mites are highly contagious and provide a source for constant reinfestation for animals that come in contact with infested cats and dogs.
